AdventHealth Center Ice is billed as the largest ice complex in the Southeast — public skate sessions, learn-to-play programs, and travel hockey all run under one roof, which still surprises people new to Florida. A few minutes away, the county's Wiregrass Ranch Sports Campus hosts tournament volleyball, basketball, and cheer most weekends, which is worth knowing both for signing kids up and for planning around hotel-filling event traffic.
Between them, the area's parks and new-build neighborhoods mean organized sports are one of the fastest ways newcomers plug in.
